Prateek began his career as an engineer and earned a PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. While working at a startup, he completed an MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. That combination led him into turnaround consulting and interim executive roles across manufacturing, healthcare, staffing, consumer packaged goods, and technology.
